The essential aim of this course is to help uncover on a deeper level who we really are and what exactly we should be doing to live a happy and fulfilled life.  In this regard certain principles and practices are universal.  In other words, there are things we all need to learn and practice, but there is much in life that is specific to us as an individual.  Therefore, a central part of the educational program will be an exploration of our personal identity and purpose through the paradigm of Jyotisha, or Vedic Astrology.  Apart from learning the basic techniques and metaphysical wisdom underpinning this ancient science, we will discover much about our individual character and personality, our talents and abilities, our strengths and weaknesses, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.  As a tool for self-discovery and as a means of personal orientation in life, Jyotisha is unsurpassed in its holistic complexity and in its power to penetrate and illuminate the story of our lives.
