MELBOURNE Yoga Expo

Sunday 31st of August in the Town Square Hocker at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
SYDNEY Yoga Expo

Sunday 19th of October, again at Wharf 8, Darling Harbour.

Melbourne Yoga Expo Dinner

On the 29th of June we held our very first Information Dinner in Melbourne to celebrate the upcoming Melbourne Yoga Expo. We are excited to announce that Sacred Earth will be playing at the Yoga Expo in both Sydney and Melbourne, and as a special treat they also performed at the dinner last Sunday. Sacred Earth's music is used extensively throughout the world in the massage, yoga, meditation, healing, spa & film industries to evoke a feeling of well-being, peace, and ambience.

With a yoga and well-being orientated guest list, delicious vegetarian feast, speeches by the Directors of the Yoga Expo and a magical musical performance by Sacred Earth, the dinner was a night of celebration and the coming together of like-minded individuals to inspire a positive change in the community.

To those of you that attended, it was great to meet you and we look forward to seeing you at the coming Expo.

Come as One, Bring Two

Come as one, bring two.

Share happiness. Introduce your friends to yoga.

The essence of yoga is union. Practicing yoga gives rise to a sense of being connected with all others - in effect to become 'at one' with them. The main aim of Yoga Expo is to help bring about this sense of one-ness within the yoga community and within the community as a whole.

When we are 'at one' we can connect with ourselves and our natural reaction is to share the joy of this connection with others. Therefore, the Yoga Expo's theme this year is for all yoga practitioners to come in a mood of one-ness, of unity, but to bring along other friends to share in the joyful experience. In other words to 'come as one and bring two', to 'share happiness and introduce your friends to yoga'.

Melbourne Yoga Expo Venue

For the Yoga Expo we always try to secure venues with plenty of natural light, good acoustics and enough space so that everyone can discover, experience and celebrate the gift of yoga. In Melbourne we found those aspects in the Town Square Hocker venue in the showgrounds. This venue is climate controlled and is always on 21 degrees, whether hot or cold outside! It has large windows on the sides for lots of natural light and the venue has beautiful acoustics due to the marquee-like roofing that absorbs a lot of sound. There is a mezzanine level on which the yoga classes will take place. While people are shopping below for yoga goodies they can see you doing poses on the mezzanine!

Underneath the mezzanine level we will set up an area where Melbourne's top vegetarine caterers will cook the best snacks and lunches for you.

Tram number 57 leaves Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, and travels along Epsom Road to the main gate.

....and finally

"Through yoga, peace and harmony, beyond being just a political cliche, is fostered as a natural consequence of an increased inner awareness."
