Dear Yogi's and friends alike,
As you may know, it's been a busy week in the Sydney Yoga Community and as a result we have received many emails and phone calls regarding Yoga '08.
We wish to clarify that we had no involvement in the conception, organisation or management of this event, staged at the Australian Fitness Expo at Darling Harbour, or the upcoming Yoga Aid Challenge events. We apologise to anyone who thought this to be the case.
We, a team, headed by Percy Garcia and Andre Melis, are the organisers of the annual Yoga Expo which will be held this year in the months of August and October, in Melbourne and Sydney respectively.
We founded Yoga Expo in 2003 and by mutual cooperation with the yoga schools of Sydney, Yoga Expo has grown to be the biggest yoga event of Australia. Our philosopy is to serve the yoga community and the community at large by providing a day to discover, experience and celebrate yoga. We believe that the Yoga Expo should be purely yoga or yoga related.
With one of our team members heading over to work at the May Yoga Journal Conference in Boston, we promise you that not only will we keep the essence of the Yoga Expo but we will expand it and try to serve you better by making it an uplifting spiritual experience.
